Private singing lessons are taught with attention to developing the voice with a focus on resonance, breath control, intonation, and development of high and low registers. A particular focus is made on strengthening a singer’s mix for a seamless range. The private vocal student will explore a wide repertoire, allowing the student to discover his /her voice and learn how to prevent damage to the vocal cords. Each private lesson will be comprised of both technique and application to songs with particular attention to the acting of the piece. The private voice student will have the opportunity to record their songs in our in-house recording studio. All private students will be able to perform in Stage Artistry Studios Student Voice Recital.
Dates and times are scheduled per student, teacher, and studio schedules. This program will help high school juniors and seniors gain all the tools needed for a successful BA and/or BFA Musical Theatre Audition, including monologue coaching, song coaching, choreographing and filming pre-screens, resume creation, assessing program application requirements, timeline planning, essay preparation, audition material research, audition technique, and mock interviews
Students will work one-on-one with an expert instructor to prepare them for an upcoming school & community show audition or professional roles. Times and dates are created on a per schedule basis.
